Terms and Conditions

Bulbul · India · Last updated 23 September 2026

Bulbul is free. No subscription, no card, and nothing renews.

These terms are between you (the parent or guardian in India) and the operator of Bulbul. By creating an account, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Contact: akshaya@bulbul.club · bulbul.club.

1. The service

Bulbul is a free Android app: short animated stories for children aged 8 and under, in English, in a vertical feed. A parent sets how long a session lasts. It is entertainment, not school, not medical advice, and not religious instruction you must follow.

Stories may include culture and faith (for example Ramayan or festivals) in a form meant for young children.

2. You must be the parent

You confirm you are the parent or legal guardian of the child whose first name you enter, that you are in India, and that you may bind this account. You are responsible for the PIN and for who uses the phone.

3. The child’s use

The child may watch, like, save, and tap story questions where we show them. There is no share, chat, or store in the child’s session. The child cannot buy anything. This version of Bulbul does not sell anything.

4. Accounts

Sign-in is your Indian mobile number and a 4-digit OTP. One child profile per number in this version. There is no logout button, so a child cannot sign the family out. To leave Bulbul, email us to delete the account.

5. Price

Bulbul is free. There is no subscription, no trial that turns into a charge, no autopay, and no card. We do not take payment in this version.

6. Licence to watch

You get a personal, non-commercial licence to stream stories in the app for your household. You may not copy, republish, download for piracy, or scrape the films.

Catalogues change. We do not promise every title will stay forever.

Spoken name inside some films may still be a production placeholder. The name on the card is the name you typed.

7. Acceptable use

Do not abuse OTP, attack the service, or use Bulbul to advertise to children.

8. Availability

We aim for reliable playback. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service (network, device, or maintenance).

9. Liability

To the extent Indian law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss, or for a child using the phone outside a session. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including proven fraud or personal injury).

10. Privacy, shipping, refunds

Privacy Policy, Cancellation and Refund, and Shipping and Exchange are part of these terms.

11. Law

Laws of India. Indian courts have jurisdiction, without taking away consumer rights that cannot be waived.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change. Material changes will be shown in the app or by email. If you do not agree, stop using Bulbul and ask us to delete the account.
